Delivery
Our delivery conditions
Le chocolat des Français delivers its products in metropolitan France and in countries of the European Union and can be delivered on demand in any other countries.
Products are shipped with a delivery note to the delivery address specified when ordering. Delivery can not be made to hotels or PO boxes.
We can not be held responsible for consequences resulting from delayed deliveries whose circumstances are out of control.
Delivery options
We offer many delivery options depending on the delivery address and the weather: delivery to a collection point by Colissimo, home delivery without signature by Colissimo, home delivery with signature by Colissimo, express delivery with signature by Chronopost and delivery in cool temperature with signature by Chronofresh.
At any time, you are informed of the status of your order using the tracking number communicated to you upon shipment.
For home delivery without signature by Colissimo
The order is deposited directly into the recipient's mailbox if the size allows. Otherwise, a notice of availability is deposited in the mailbox to indicate the recipient of the withdrawal address for the order.
In the case of the absence of mailbox or inaccessibility to it at the specified delivery address, the order shall be delivered to a collection point. The carrier will not make contact with the recipient. If you are not the addressee, it is your responsibility to prevent that a package is available at the point of removal shown on your package tracking.
For reasons related to the perishable nature of the product, it is highly advisable to go retire at the removal indicated by the carrier within 48 hours worked provided with the calling card and an ID. Failing to have removed the package in the abovementioned period, Le chocolat des Français can not be held responsible for any degradation products.
If the recipient does not respond within 14 days or if the package is shipped back to us, delivery will be considered done and no refunds or any products returned to another address will be made.
In case the home address corresponds to a public institution (hospital...) or to a private institution (company, clinic, retirement home...) and the package could not be delivered by hand to the addressee, delivery will be considered made from the time the parcel has been delivered to the home or office of the institution dedicated to the receipt of goods.
If the delivery tracking of your package indicates that it has been delivered but that you have not received it:
- Check the delivery address you have chosen in the order confirmation email.
- Look for a notice of passage in your mailbox or near your door.
- Check around you: with your neighbours, your caretaker...
- Contact Colissimo from their online contact form.
- If despite all this, you still have not found your package, contact our customer service with the reference of your order. You have up to 30 days after the stated delivery date to contact us.
For deliveries to a collection point by Colissimo
You can order to a Post Office or a Collection Point. The address and opening hours of the collection point will be available in the order tracking link and in the email sent by Colissimo.
Once the package is made available at the collection point, you will have 14 days to come and collect it, with ID. For reasons related to the perishable nature of the product, it is strongly recommended to collect it within 48 working hours. If the package is not collected within 14 days, it will be returned to us and the delivery will be considered completed: no refund or reshipment of the product to another address will be made.

Delivery time
The delivery time indicated on the website are target dates, corresponding to the average processing time and delivery. Delivery times take into account the preparation time in our workshops and the delivery period of the carrier.
To ensure that these deadlines are respected, you must make sure you have submitted accurate and complete information regarding the delivery address (such as, inter alia: No street, building, stairs, access codes, names and / or interphone numbers, etc.).
Orders are received from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday are processed on Monday or Tuesday depending on available stock.
Colissimo (from September 15th to May 31st):
Metropolitan France and Monaco: delivery time: 2 to 5 business days (monday - friday).
European Union: delivery time: 3 to 9 business days (monday - friday).
Chronopost (from October 1st to May 15th):
Metropolitan France (excluding Corsica) and Monaco: delivery time: 1 to 3 business days (monday - friday).
European Union: delivery time: 2 to 7 business days (monday - friday).
Chronofresh (from May 15th to September 30th):
Metropolitan France (excluding Corsica) and Monaco: delivery time: 2 to 6 business days (monday - friday).
Shipping days: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
No delivery outside Metropolitan France and in Corsica during summer.
We strive to meet the delivery time. However, we can not be held liable for any delays in delivery caused by a major party high traffic delivery (Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter...) or any force majeure.
Claim
If you have a complaint to make, you can send it via the "Contact" page on our website, specifying the number order concerned.
If the product has not been delivered for any reason other than force majeure or above cases (absent and erroneous information...), the sale may be canceled and the buyer may obtain refund of its price, to the exclusion of any other compensation or damages. We remind you that you have the legal guarantee of conformity within the L211-4 and following of the Consumer Code and the legal guarantee on the consequences of faults or hidden defects under section 1641 of the Civil Code. Reimbursement will be made by check or wire transfer.
The refund will be made by PayPal or wire transfer. The repayment period will not exceed 30 days from receipt of your claim.
